These were just some design ideas i sketched, keeping in trend of minimal, discreet and unisex. Also i have incorporated a light in all designs, as this is our favourite form of 'prompting' our consumer so far.

The design which I think works best visually for this brief is my first sketch, combining leather, metal and a double light prompt.

Here are some of my design ideas for the wrist-wear device, I particularly like idea 1 as it is more visually attractive and I like how it has a detachable pendant that monitors the activity.
Illustrator Sketches
We decided to test out design ideas using illustrator as the next step on from our initial sketches.

However, after trying out various techniques on illustrator we did not achieve the desired aesthetic we were after, so decided to go back to hand-sketches to create a final design then the next step will be to find a computer programme which will enable us to design our product with the detail required.
FINAL DESIGN
After looking over our initial sketch ideas and combining key elements from each, we decided that the main factor we all agreed upon was a simple band combining leather and metal which would work as unisex but which could also include colour variations for individuality.
Here are the rough sketches we have done of our final design idea. The band will be leather (either tan brown or black) and the clasp will be metal with two lights disguised as 'bolt detail' - one white and one red to prompt the wearer of both theirs and their partners' inactivity.
The next step was then to design with these specific details included using CAD, in order to create a true representation of what our final products will look like.
This was the initial design using CAD before we incorporated colours and style.
